The 840 i Gran Coupe — back to cool!

It replaces the 6 Series Gran Coupe and is rooted in modernness, sportiness and all-out power! Often described as BMW’s flagship model, the Gran Coupe makes the brand relevant in the luxury four-door niche. Its exterior is complete with a massive grille, slender headlamps with optional Laser-light technology, a sporty front splitter, taller roof, sleek profile and aggressive M Sport Package. As sporty as the coupe, the Gran Coupe is longer, featuring an additional pair of doors and more space for passengers. Almost identical to the standard 8 series, this car is set apart by the section from the B-pillars to the deck lid. There is also a reshaped roof and larger rear windows.
In terms of size, the Gran Couple is obviously bigger than the two-door 8 Series. At 200 inches long, it is nearly 10 inches longer than the two-door version. This vehicle is also 1.2 inches wider and sits 2.2 inches taller compared to the coupe. It also has a larger trunk than the two-door coupe.
Inside, it boasts new technology, a large infotainment display, leather upholstery, digital instrument cluster and both enhanced front headroom and way more rear legroom. A wide center console rises toward the dashboard to separate the driver and front passenger areas and the same freestanding and frameless 10.25 inch infotainment display. The infotainment system has the ability to detect the driver and activate specific settings by downloading a profile from the BMW Cloud or through the vehicle key. The Gran Coupe also presents a state-of-the-art navigation system, two USB ports and Bluetooth interfaces. Standard technology includes remote engine start, keyless entry, soft-close automatic doors, head-up display, Sirius XM satellite radio, wireless charging and more.
